This mixed-use project consisted of a two-story concrete podium structure for retail and five four-story apartment buildings totaling 370 units. Amenities for this area included fountains and raised planters for residential courtyards and private patios. The structure in front of the dwellings was built to contain numerous retailers in a true mixed-use blend. Additionally, the scope included a concrete parking garage. The foundations were built into an embankment adjacent to the freeway requiring shoring and shotcrete.
