Chilled Water System Upgrade at Sonoma Developmental Center

Designed and installed for a 1,000 acre campus comprising residential campground, cafeteria, post office, petting farm, sports fields, swimming pool, plant nursery and picnic areas, this facility badly needed a complete upgrade. The work consisted of the removal of five existing chillers and associated cooling towers and piping, and the addition of two new chillers and high velocity cooling towers with a total capacity of 2,850 tons. The work also included the replacement of existing chilled water valves and fan coils.
